动画作品《Little Busters! EX》是Key社出品的游戏《Little Busters!》第三度动画化的作品，前两作分别是《Little Busters!》和《Little Busters! ～Refrain～》。动画将涉及原作游戏的追加版《Little Busters! Ecstasy》（リトルバスターズ! エクスタシー）中的剧情。。加杰特是一名糊涂的探员，他的上司探长更是胆小得总是躲在自认为安全的地方发布命令。然而这么一对组合，竟然能时常挫败邪恶的Claw博士领导的M.A.D.军的阴谋。 这一切都归功于加杰特的侄女Penny和她的小狗暗中帮忙，以及他的经常歪打正着的好运气，当然，加杰特身体上那些时灵时不灵的宝物：轮滑鞋、弹簧手臂、直升机式飞帽等等都经常能在关键时刻助他一臂之力。稀里糊涂的加杰特就靠着这一切在捍卫着世界和平。Polly Parrish, a clerk at Merlin's Department Store, is mistakenly presumed to be the mother of a foundling.
