An oil company is drilling in a small town and suddenly they face volcanic eruption. This seems a small event at first sight but soon it becomes clear that it is the start of a long chain of eruptions. In the movie we see people rushing to save their lives and gradually it becomes a global phenomena that has ability to enfulf the whole globe。老婆生下孩子和有钱人私奔后，孟仲渊一个人照顾孩子、赡养老人，凭借努力打拼成为首富。但因为年轻时的经历，孟仲渊担心儿子知道家里有钱，会变得不学无术，所以多年来一直装穷，培养儿子的意志和品性。。以東方武術為主題的《暴力醒思》， 身為東方人的waye當然對於其中的內容呈現有自己的想法，waye的結論是：只要是透過鏡頭的再呈現，就一定會有觀點，這世界沒有忠實呈現真實這回事，就算是當事人也一樣，我們必須要有的是判斷接受哪一種觀點的決斷力而已。
