紀錄片花一年時間拍攝，導演 Vitaliy Manskiy 與攝製隊兩次到訪平壤，全程有「保鏢」陪伴。與五位女學生進行10分鐘面試後，Vitaliy Manskiy 找來8歲女孩辛美（Zin Mi）做女主角，紀錄她加入先鋒運動、慶祝已故最高領導人金正日生辰的光明星節等點滴。。一位牧师(Robert Ginty)得知他在越南服役期间生了一个孩子，母亲和孩子已经搬到了德克萨斯州的休斯敦，在小西贡区。在寻找他们的过程中，他也发现了对越南人民的巨大偏见，尤其是在他们努力工作的渔业社区中。为了纠正错误，牧师倾向于使用更多的拳头，而不是友好的，牧师的劝导。。Gloria wakes up one morning in her attic with yet another boyfriend at her side, Fuffi.
