在从山区前往清迈的长途车程中，Phasut上尉与妻子Namping遭遇翻车事故双双殒命，他们六岁的儿子Tawan因当天未同行而幸免于难。Namping的兄长、咖啡园园主Khunkhao闻讯悲痛不已，迅速操办了葬礼。葬礼上，Phasut的妹妹Thofah代表祖父前来，欲将Tawan带回曼谷，但Khunkhao无法接受让孩子跟随素未谋面的祖父和姑姑生活，而Thofah却决心不惜一切代价完成任务……。本故事虚构了“金宿卫”这一自古传承的国宝守护者。讲述了在民国年间，金宿卫后人前往东北保护女真族宝藏，阻止日本人夺宝，并探寻金宿卫被迫害的秘密。本片的三位主角坚定地守护国家宝藏，陆还山用自我牺牲保护好国宝免遭侵略者的掠夺，片中的披甲人从一开始被迫为日本人寻宝，到最后舍命消灭日本侵略者，体现出民族意识的觉醒，传达出了民族团结、英勇抗敌的主旋律精神。。Charles Dexter Ward's wife enlists the help of a private detective to find out what her husband is up to in a remote cabin owned by his family for centuries.
