19世纪50年代，船长查尔斯·布恩（艾德里安·布洛迪 Adrien Brody 饰）的妻子于海上去世后，他带着三个孩子回到缅因州名叫“传教士之角”的小镇里定居。在祖传的老宅子里，查尔斯发现了自己家族的黑暗秘密。。Two young men (Jon Cryer, Rick Stear) who have been friends since early childhood decide to go on a trip to find a third friend (Rafael Baez) who has long since disappeared. Stories they have heard indicate that the friend has been seen in an apparently rambling, incoherent state at Coney Island. Their trip leads them to a number of adventures involving the otherworld-like life...。
