感情受挫的陈亚楠一人来到偏僻孤岛被困，在岛上求生中救下一只被困的马犬（小八）。岛上陈亚楠多次遇到危险，都得到小八的相救。一次，小八为了救助陈亚楠被野人绑走，陈亚楠也奋不顾身去拯救小八，陈亚楠绝境时……。The film is a dramatic re-enactment of real-life events that took place in 1968 in the small village of San Miguel Canoa in Puebla, México.
